Intermediate II Fall 2026

Service Description

The Intermediate II course is ideal for adults who have already completed and confidently mastered our Intermediate I Course (or the equivalent) and who have a basic understanding and usage of the Italian language and culture. Participants registering for this course are independent users of the language. Each 90 minute class is taught by an experienced, NYS certified Italian teacher and meets once per week for 15 weeks. Participants will enjoy a complete Italian immersion environment as they become independent users of the language and will begin to utilize more idioms along with additional verb tenses and moods into their dialogues while working on mastering proper pronunciation. Some topics covered during this course may include: using more past tenses to describe events, congratulating people, sports, health, symptoms and remedies, shopping at the market, describing clothing and apparel, and talking about movies, and more. The course outline is tentative and subject to change based on each unique class. PLEASE NOTE: Price: $675 per semester without book; or $790 with book* included. Payment is due at registration and is nonrefundable.
