Meet Our Team

Since earning her degree from Stony Brook University in 2011, Catrina has worked as a certified world language teacher in various settings such as public and private schools throughout New York and New Jersey. She holds multiple certifications and has been fortunate enough to work with students of all ages from elementary to college level. 

Dottor Butler earned his doctorate from SUNY Stony Brook and has been teaching Italian in the Harborfields Central School District since 1996.

He has also taught at Suffolk County Community College and Saint Anthony’s High School.

Dottor Butler is a proud Italian-American and a true history buff full of knowledge and fun facts all about Italy. His Italian classes are challenging yet lively and full of culture!​

Daniela currently teaches Italian and Spanish at Murphy Junior High School. She previously taught at Ward Melville High School and Long Island Lutheran High School. Prior to her work in secondary education, she served as an adjunct professor at Hofstra University and Molloy College.

She holds three master’s degrees: an M.A. in Modern Italian Literature from the University of Milan, an M.A. in International Relations from CCNY, and an M.S. in Foreign Language Education (Spanish) from Hofstra University.

In her current role within the Three Village Central School District, she has redesigned the Italian curriculum for Levels 3 and 4 and has taught all levels of Italian, from Grade 7 through AP. She has also collaborated with Stony Brook University on several pedagogical initiatives.

Mrs. Casadei-Berwind is the President of AATI-LI and a frequent presenter at regional and national conferences, where she shares her passion for Italian language, culture, and the integration of technology in education.

Born and raised in Sicily, Lorena first came to New York 20 years ago. With her strong culinary background, she has worked at Per Tutti since 2024 hosting numerous cooking workshops and events in addition to teaching private lessons and assisting during children’s classes & camp.

Lorena also currently works as an Italian tutor and loves working at Per Tutti “because It feels like home”.

Cristina Patrissi was born and raised in Northern Italy before moving to New York in 2022. She has over two years of experience working with children as an AuPair and is currently studying Early Childhood Education and Management at SUNY Canton.

As a native Italian speaker, Cristina enjoys introducing children to the Italian language and culture in a fun and natural way. She loves seeing their confidence grow each week and feels grateful to be part of the Per Tutti family.

Anthony Vittorino is a NYS certified world language educator who teaches Italian to adult learners at Per Tutti. Raised by Italian‑born parents and having traveled extensively throughout Italy, he brings authentic cultural insight and lived experience to his instruction.

Anthony’s teaching emphasizes clear structure, practical communication, and a supportive learning environment that helps adults build confidence, deepen cultural understanding, and advance their Italian proficiency.

Additionally, Anthony is an AP World Language Teacher at Jericho High School.

Rosa is the backbone of our center and has been a part of the Per Tutti team since the doors opened in Fall 2023. Not only does she ensure everything is running smoothly each and every day, but she also helps all students feel welcome from the moment they walk in the door.

Born and raised in Naples, Italy, Rosa finds true comfort and connection with the families she works with daily. 

She has experience working in the local public schools and truly does it all at Per Tutti from teaching and assisting during children’s classes to co-hosting cooking workshops and game nights for adults. 

Giuliana is currently a well accomplished senior at Smithtown High School East hoping to study International Business in college. She began studying Italian in middle school and quickly fell in love with the language and culture! Giuliana holds leadership roles in several clubs, is a member of multiple Honor Societies, and is a member of the Varsity Field Hockey team.

Giuliana loves spending time with her sister and laughing with her friends. Giuliana truly enjoys her job at Per Tutti, especially getting to work with the children!

Maestra Gabriella is a NYS certified elementary teacher and lead teacher at Per Tutti's summer camp program. ​She also teaches classes for our "adult & me" program.

Gabriella brings her experience and live entertainment as she creates connection through music during class with her ukulele, which the children absolutely love!

We are so grateful to have Maestra Gabriella share her musical talent with our littlest learners at Per Tutti and look forward to growing and learning together!

Angelo Mariano is a native Italian speaker, passionate artist, teacher and experienced college professor. He brings fresh ideas for new courses to keep our adult classes interesting. Angelo demonstrates the perfect balance of humor and professionalism during his adult courses and private lessons each and every week at Per Tutti!

After receiving his bachelors and masters degrees with honors in Literature and Philosophy from the University of Bologna, Angelo moved to NYC to enroll in The Art Students League in 2001 and pursue his career as a painter and as a mentor of Italian. He has been teaching art and Italian in private schools and colleges in Italy, in the United States and in Japan.

Silvana’s passion for teaching began in her childhood. As a first-generation American, her parents and grandparents taught her to speak Italian, instilling in her a lifelong connection to the language and culture.

While she was in college, she spent a year in Rome studying language and art history. She was also an editor at Scholastic Publishing where she read to children in classrooms which inspired her to pursue a Master’s Degree in Early Childhood Education from Bank Street College in New York City.

Silvana brings two decades of classroom experience to her teaching. For the past five years, she worked in a Montessori environment. In her dual role as a co-teacher and Italian language instructor for 3-to-6-year-olds, she blends the Montessori philosophy with her passion for the Italian language.
