Intermediate II Spring 2026

Service Description

The Intermediate II course is ideal for adults who have already completed and confidently mastered our Intermediate I Course (or the equivalent) and who have a basic understanding and usage of the Italian language and culture. Participants registering for this course are independent users of the language. Classes are taught by an experienced, NYS certified Italian teacher and meet once per week for 1.5 hours over the course of 10 weeks. Course materials are provided. An additional course book and ebook may also be purchased for additional practice if desired. Participants will enjoy an Italian immersion environment and begin to utilize more idioms, various verb tenses and moods into their dialogues while working on mastering proper pronunciation in order to become a basic user of the language. Some topics covered during this course may include: using more past tenses to describe events, congratulating people, sports, health, symptoms and remedies, shopping at the market, describing clothing and apparel, and talking about movies. The course outline is tentative and subject to change based on each unique class. PLEASE NOTE: Total investment is $380 per participant. Payment is due at the time of registration and is nonrefundable. There are no make-up classes.
