Intermediate I/II Fall 2026

Service Description

The Intermediate courses are ideal for adults who have already completed and confidently mastered our Novice Courses (or an equivalent series of beginner courses) and have a basic understanding and usage of the Italian language and culture. Each 90 minute class meets once per week for 15 weeks. All adult courses also include 3 "conversazione" classes, which meet once per month. There is no additional fee for these classes, however, registration is required in order to reserve your seat. Participants will enjoy a complete Italian immersion environment and begin to become independent users of the language as they continue to incorporate additional verb tenses and moods into their dialogues while working on proper pronunciation and advancing with the language. Some topics covered during this course may include: asking for assistance while shopping, food shopping, visiting the market, following or sharing simple recipes, discussing work/life balance, health and wellness, using more past tenses to describe events, congratulating people, sports, health, symptoms and remedies, shopping at the market, clothing and apparel and more. The course outline is tentative and subject to change based on each unique class. PLEASE NOTE: Price: $675 per semester without book; or $790 with book* included. Payment is due at registration and is nonrefundable.
