Italian For Travel: Summer 2026

Service Description

This "Italian for Travel" course is ideal for all adults who plan on traveling to Italy and wish to communicate effectively in the Italian language while abroad. Classes meet once per week on Mondays from 4:15 pm until 5:45 pm for 10 weeks. All materials are provided. During each class, participants will work with an experienced, NYS certified Italian teacher in an Italian immersion environment while focusing on improving listening, speaking, and reading skills. Participants will work in small groups to practice dialogues using various verb tenses and moods in order to help prepare them for real life situations. Each week will cover a different topic (which may include: reviewing basic grammatical structures and letter sounds, greetings and introductions, transportation, hotels, shopping, dining, and some basic geography of Italian regions). The course outline is tentative and subject to change based on each unique class. Class dates: June 22, 29; July 6, 13, 20, 27; August 3, 10, 17, 24 PLEASE NOTE: *Payment is due at the time of registration and is nonrefundable. *There are no make-up classes.
