Intermediate I Fall 2026

Service Description

The Intermediate I course is ideal for adults who have already completed and confidently mastered our Novice Courses (or an equivalent series of beginner courses) and have a basic understanding and usage of the Italian language and culture. Each 90 minute class is taught by an experienced, NYS certified Italian teacher and meets once per week for 15 weeks. Participants will enjoy a complete Italian immersion environment and begin to become independent users of the language as they continue to incorporate additional verb tenses and moods into their dialogues while working on proper pronunciation and advancing with the language. Some topics covered during this course may include: asking for assistance while shopping, food shopping, visiting the market, following or sharing simple recipes, discussing work/life balance, health and wellness, sharing personal learning experiences with the Italian language and culture, and describing past experiences. The course outline is tentative and subject to change based on each unique class. PLEASE NOTE: Price: $675 per semester without book; or $790 with book* included. Payment is due at registration and is nonrefundable.
